How to Reheat a Whopper?

Do you know how to reheat a Whopper?

A Whopper is the signature sandwich from one of the most famous fast-food chains around the world, Burger King! It is a quick, cheap, and delicious meal that you can pick up on the go.

The Whopper has withstood the test of time, with its original recipe dating back to 1957. Grabbing one of these sandwiches fresh from a drive-thru window, and enjoying it warm in the car has its own charm.

But, what if you brought a few extra Whoppers home and can no longer eat them?

Then, you need to know how to reheat a Whopper, so you don’t end up with a warm soggy mess at the end.

How to Reheat a Whopper?

Fast food is famously known to be quite inedible if it is not consumed as soon as it is bought.

That is because there is a method to successfully reheat the food without it turning into a rubbery texture or having it become super soggy.

The one thing you don’t want to do is just toss it in the microwave and heat everything through together; this will leave you with something you absolutely do not want to eat! Reheating a Whopper is not hard, but it might require a little bit of patience.

Once your Whopper is reheated properly, it is almost better than the original.

Here’s How to Reheat a Whopper

Step 1

Remove your Whopper from its packaging and disassemble it. You want to make sure every part of the burger is separate.

If you have a Whopper with cheese, don’t try to separate the cheese from the patty; just leave it on there.

Step 2

For the patty, you want to add a few teaspoons of oil to a skillet and place it on the stovetop on high heat. Wait till the oil is smoking and place the patty in.

You won’t need more than 30 seconds on each side to heat it properly.

If your patty has cheese on it, place the patty with the cheese side up in the pan and cover the pan with a lid.

The steam build-up will melt the cheese and heat the patty through. You won’t want to leave the patty on there for longer than 45 seconds.

Step 3

For the buns, you can place them in a toaster oven with the sauce side facing up until you reach the desired temperature.

Once you remove the buns, it is a good idea to add a little more sauce on your own.

You can add a mixture of ketchup, mayo, and Worcestershire sauce to recreate the one on the original.

Step 4

For the vegetables, it is a good idea to cut up some fresh onions, tomato, lettuce, and pickles to give your sandwich an elevated taste.

However, if you do not have them available, remove the lettuce and add the rest of the veggies back to your sandwich.

Step 5

Reassemble the sandwich and enjoy!

The reheated Whopper, if done properly, can taste just as good, if not better than the original.
